Deepika Padukone Vs Kangana Ranaut Fashion Face-Off: Who Wore The Sabyasachi Creation Better?
Both Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut opted for Sabyasachi outfits and were a visual treat. But who do you think carried the ensemble better?
If one had to list the most fashionable celebrities of B-Town, Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut will surely find a mention. The divas have not only carved a niche for themselves with their acting chops, but their sartorial choices almost always garner praise from the fashion critics. Now, the actresses were photographed in outfits with similar prints.
At Saturday night's post-wedding party, Deepika looked stunning sporting a multi-coloured floral ensemble. Her look comprised a choli with a plunging neckline, which was teamed up with a high-waisted lehenga. The outfit was attached with a Sabyasachi belt and a sheer net dupatta. It's called the ‘Dil-guldasta’ lehenga.
The lehenga is intricately embroidered on Bordeaux silk with hand-dyed velvet appliques, silk-floss, beaten silver and gold thread and rose-tinted crystals and rhinestones. The look is accessorized with jewellery from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry Collection and romanticized with a sheer, diaphanous, embroidered veil. Adding on to the style was a jadau neckpiece, traditional bangles and a braided Greek style bun. She completed the look with floral decoration in the hair. Deepika pulled off the look with utmost grace and signature poise.

Deepika's look reminded us of a similar Sabyasachi print on Kangana a few months back. In the June edition of Harper’s Bazaar, Kangana sported a floral frock, which was also designed by Sabyasachi. Kangana's dress was sleeveless with a deep U-neck. The 'Frida' gown was in black silk, embroidered with hand-dyed velvet, silk and metal thread. Her minimal styling added with her naturally curly open hair, stud earrings and a black wristwatch makes the look stand out.
While both actresses stunned in their respective outfits, according to us, Deepika fared marginally better because she pushed the boundaries with her lehenga-choli. Who do you think pulled off the Sabyasachi outfit better? Share your thoughts with us.
